Italian Stoner band Indivia reveal cover artwork and tracklist of their second album “Horta”, a huge journey made of experimental and hypnotic mood. A monolithic wall of sound accompanied by “green vibrations” and raw fuzz. Indivia “Horta” will be released in CD/DD by Argonauta Records on the 26th of September 2016. You can have a taste of the band by giving a listen to their first single here: https://youtu.be/kTaEZjzOnTc Preorders “SAVE 20%” are available at this address: http://bit.ly/2asUYsp www.argonautarecords.com - www.facebook.com/indiviadoom On October 3rd, Iron Bonehead Productions is proud to present the debut recording of New Zealand's Solar Mass, Pseudomorphosis, first to be presented on cassette tape and then 12" MLP and CD later on. Just as a prehistoric universe exploded into being like a hell-storm of raging chaos, so, too, the sounds of Solar Mass leap into existence in the present era before you with five new songs in random acts of ferocious violence across a broad spectrum of subgenres to escape the mediocrity of the governing Magian death-cult. Listen as the Faustian aristocracy announce a declaration of war and leads a counter-attack to reclaim the right to metallic existence. Hear the atomic warlords impose a new epoch, a nascent culture on a dying world swamped with obsolete low-tech assets resembling mindless automatons managed by the invisible hand of media moguls and alien usurpers. Bear witness to the war cry, the four-string fog-horns of doom, the clanging of metal armour, the rattle of sabre-lazers, and the sound of air-raid sirens screaming across the fire-lit crimson skies into night's dawn as the mechanized battalion marches with savage brutality and cutting-edge technology towards the nuclear horizons of the future.
A deafening roar from the tomb of Diocletian asserts dominance over the cowering effeminate indie and lowbrow radio-wave slaves, to relinquish and thwart the encroaching vanguard of invading subcontinental simian hominids. See how, in their confusion and fear, the label-stables huddle together, seeking shelter and refuge in the subterranean sewers of pop music, hiding from the six-string extermination squads sent in to ethnically cleanse the inferior mongoloids under a reign of bombastic fire from overhead atomic cannons, an aural pogrom set in motion as a consequence of fashion’s own making, a cataclysm repaid in kind for their criminal psychopathic altruism of which they have committed with impunity against the music world. So begins an assault and a long, cold nuclear winter for the subhuman to endure as deadly amplifiers detonate like one billion megatons of TNT to stamp out their miserable campfires, breaking their linked hands and murdering their "Kumbaya" mantras, smashing their acoustic guitars over their befuddled heads, snuffing their dreams of an egalitarian planet. Watch as their pop-stars are mercilessly extinguished for singing hymns to a third world from the sun. Lift up your chalice and quaff the toxic heavy metal which overflows like a sonic shock-wave into the deepest recesses of the eternal space drama. Toast, if you will, the good fight against immeasurable odds in the timeless face of a seemingly inevitable order of death: Solar Mass' Pseudomorphosis! Hear the first nuclear detonation with the track "Weaponised" at Iron Bonehead's Soundcloud HERE www.facebook.com/SSAMRALOS Experimental doom band SubRosa will release their most triumphant album to date, "For This We Fought the Battle of Ages", on August 26th from Profound Lore. In anticipation of the album’s release, the band has unveiled the first single, “Wound of the Warden”, via NPR’s All Songs Considered. This track showcases SubRosa’s crushing monolithic sound canvas: a devastating mix of soul-crushing doom, innovative chamber music (solidified by the band’s two electric violin players) and balladry all filtered through the veil of American gothic tragedy. Guitarist Rebecca Vernon’s vision for SubRosa brewed for some years before songwriting for the band began in the beginning of 2005; debut album "The Worm Has Turned" was released the following year, the "Strega" LP followed in 2008 and SubRosa went on to self-release "The Swans Trapped In Ice" EP in 2009. In 2011, SubRosa’s groundbreaking full-length album "No Help For The Mighty Ones" was released on Profound Lore Records; No Help received extensive critical acclaim. With the band’s line-up solidified with Vernon alongside Kim Pack (electric violin, vocals), Sarah Pendleton (electric violin, vocals), Levi Hanna (bass) and Andy Patterson (drums), SubRosa released More Constant Than the Gods in 2013 which topped countless year end lists including Decibel Magazine, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, SPIN, Entertainment Weekly and more. Now, SubRosa will release "For This We Fought the Battle of Ages" which sees the band expanding their sound to a new plateau with their heaviest, darkest, and most dynamic-sounding album to date through bigger-sounding production value (the new album was fully engineered and mixed by drummer Andy Patterson). With the awareness brought onto the band with the new album’s predecessor, which also saw SubRosa on their most active touring schedule yet, "For This We Fought the Battle of Ages" will bring push the band further as they prepare to unveil their most important and crucial album in their repertoire. Formed in the summer of 2014 by former band members of A Million Miles, Buffalo Hump and Pyogenesis, this band is a volatile cocktail of heavy as hell riffs fuelled by beer and the mighty weedian riffs. Add a heavy dose of the blues and these deadly schizophrenic vocals, and these guys and girl offer something special to the Sludge, Blues and Stoner Scene. After their critically acclaimed debut EP 'The Goat Ritual' released end of 2014, followed by numerous shows over Europe including UK dates, festivals, several tours and shows with bands such as Ahab, Mammoth Storm, Crowbar, Corrosion of Conformity, The Midnight Ghost Train & many more, High Fighter will release their first and full length album 'Scars & Crosses' on June 10th 2016 with Svart Records! Since the band is hard to categorize, they just recently stated in an interview with Outlaws of the Sun: "We're not a pure doom band, nor do we try to be a pure sludge or stoner band. You will find a lot more in High Fighter as well as on our upcoming album. If you're a pure metal head, you will find a bit of what you need. If you're a stoner, blues, sludge or doom enthusiast, like your tunes melodic but mean and heavy on the other hand, we've got something for you. We're fans of leaving enough space for your very own definition and vibes you get with our sound." You can stream High Fighter's upcoming and hotly anticipated debut album 'Scars & Crosses' now and in full HERE. The first fruit of this union shall be the band's debut album, "Perish", which will be released later this summer. Hailing from the Oslo underground, Hymn have paved their way forward with their multiple full stacks, hard-hitting drumming, and an uncompromising approach to volume and tonality. Starting out early in 2013, the two-piece have kept a heavy foot on the throttle, pushing their raw and brutal doom over the Norwegian rock / metal scene as much as possible. By sharing the stage with bands like Windhand, Eagle twin, Uzala, Enslaved, and Belzebong, and by playing some of the biggest festivals in Norway (Høstsabbat, The Øya Festival), Hymn have grown to become one of Norway's loudest and most hard-hitting live bands to date. Begun earlier this year, the band hit the studio to record their debut full-length, Perish, and the two-man juggernaut are now looking towards the border, eager to hit the European road with their cold, aggressive doom, made with merely four hands. A statement from the band reads: "A long, loud, thorough, emotional, and really fun process is finally documented into approximately 50 minutes of music, titled Perish. The last year has surely been a defining one for us, and we are really proud of the result. The album is definitely a more brutal, more refined, and a much colder experience than our self-titled EP from 2013, and we do feel that this album really represents where we want to be musically right now. It’s recorded, mixed, and mastered by Kim Lillestøl at Amper Tone studio in Oslo, and we pretty much recorded the whole thing in 48 intense hours. We are really looking forward to take the album on the road, and are are super-stoked that Svart Records wants to release it." Indeed, Hymn will be hitting that European road for the following tour dates: 15.04 Leeuwarden, NL @ The Morgue w/ AttackRobotAttac 16.04 Groningen, NL @ ORKZ BAR w/ AttackRobotAttac 17.04 Gorinchem, NL @ Podium Gorcum 18.04 Liège, BE @ La Zone w/ Conan, Deuil, Angakok 19.04 Cologne, DE @ Limes Köln 20.04 Tournai, BE @ TBA 21.04 Bonn, DE @ KULT41 22.04 Paris, FR @ Le Cirque Electrique w/ remote 23.04 Metz, FR @ La Chaouée 24.04 Lyon, FR @ TBA 25.04 Milan, IT @ Bloom 26.04 Nuremberg, DE @ Projekt 31 27.04 Freiberg, DE @ TrainControl 28.04 Prague, CZ @ Klub 007 Strahov 29.04 Ostrava, CZ @ Burn the Witchbong w/ Argonaut 30.04 Berlin, DE @ Backdoor Party www.facebook.com/Hymn-214614995268230 Hamburg-based stoner metal / sludge outfit High Fighter have just hit the studio to record their first full-length album, and now the band announces that they have signed a worldwide deal with Finland's elite Svart Records. Born in the summer of 2014 by former members of A Million Miles, Buffalo Hump, and Pyogenesis, High Fighter self-released their first (and critically acclaimed) debut EP titled The Goat Ritual in the same year, followed by numerous shows all over Europe and the UK in 2015. With one EP out and only in the band's first year, High Fighter have already shared the stage with such acts as Corrosion of Conformity, Ahab, Mammoth Storm, The Midnight Ghost Train, and Greenleaf, among others, and appeared at such festivals as Stoned From The Underground, Sonic Blast Portugal, Red Smoke in Poland, Hamburg Metaldayz, and many more, including an exclusive press showcase live at Wacken Open Air. After heavily touring in 2015, the band has now hit the renowned Rama Studios in Mannheim, Germany to record their first, highly anticipated full-length album, set to be released in June 2016. "When we introduced the band to the public by the end of 2014 and released our first EP the same year, we would never have imagined what amazing things and opportunities would come up for us and where the still-young road of High Fighter would go," states vocalist Mona Miluski. "In only one year, we were lucky enough to tour heavily, played shows and tours with so many fantastic bands, rocked several festival stages, seen amazing places, and met the greatest people out there. But when we started the band, we also would never have imagined signing a deal with one of the best underground labels this scene has to offer and after this very short band history. Having built up bands such as Mantar and Hexvessel, Svart Records' artist roster speaks for itself, and we're over the moon to have signed with such a reputable and fantastic record label. We look forward to this journey, and can't wait till our first album will see the light of day on Svart!" High Fighter are currently recording at Rama Studios in Mannheim, Germany. To support the upcoming album live, the band has already announced several shows for 2016, such as Desertfest Berlin and Summer Breeze Festival, and will be announcing more tour dates and upcoming gigs this year soon.
